I’m currently in the Mac Lab at KSU, feeling pretty collegiate and all that. I’m watching Michelle do some of her goofy art-major junk (she’s animating for Flash) while I sit here and poke around in BlogLand and Facebook. It’s good to feel collegiate, since I don’t even see this campus outside of the dining hall. Yeah, I live and eat at a campus that I don’t attend for class. My time is spent at elementary school.
It’s Monday.
Lots of people hate Mondays, but I’ve never hated them. Mondays are when my energy is most high and when I have the best outlook on the week. Friday? I’ll be twiddling my thumbs, ready to rocket out of the school.
SPEAKING OF…
Tomorrow is the annual 3rd-grade play. I’m anxious to see how it goes. I would post the pictures that I’m going to take, but that’s probably illegal (#totaleducationmove). So you’ll just have to imagine precious third graders in fairy-tale costumes instead. You can also feel free to imagine me, sitting in front of them on the floor, waving my arms to the motions to help them remember what they are doing. In short, I’ll be making a fool out of myself, but I’m totally excited about it.
Michelle’s still doing her thing on Flash.
The art building is a strange place… as in, I really don’t fit in. My clothes are teacher-y and I’m not fiddlin’ with some crazy Mac program like these other folks are. No, I’m just sitting here typing away and taking up one of these fancy-schmancy computers that I’m sure are in high demand this time of night…. I may get glared at through thick-framed glasses in a minute…
Michelle has succumbed to FaceBook, so I guess it’s time for us to go. Keep on keepin’ on!
